HERE'S THE PITCH

For ESPN The Magazine's 2014 MLB Preview, I conceived and spearheaded a multi-platform plan to feature the Arizona Diamondbacks pitching staff, which at the time included an over-the-top hurler, a severe side-armer and everything in between. We shot a print photo act titled "Snakes On Seven Planes" and also used slow-motion cameras and first-person audio to break down the mechanics of several Arizona pitchers in a video series called "Anatomy of a Pitch." The print/digital project won an Associated Press Sports Editors Award for Multimedia Presentation and was nominated for a Sports Emmy.
